BloomNotePrivacy Policy

BloomNote is a calendar and task app. This policy explains what data the app and our servers handle, why, and what you can do about it. BloomNote is operated by a sole proprietorship based in Türkiye, which is the data controller for the data described here.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address, username and display name. Your password is handled by our sign-in service and stored only in hashed form.
- What you create: tasks (title, description, dates, times, repeat rules, category), lists, list members, invitations and task assignments.
- Notifications: your notification preferences, your notification inbox, and, if you allow notifications, a push token for your device.
- Technical logs: our servers keep the standard technical logs needed to run and secure the service.
What we don't do
- We don't show ads and we don't sell your data.
- The app contains no third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
Why we use it
Only to provide BloomNote: to sign you in, store and sync your tasks and lists, let you share lists, send the reminders and notifications you turned on, and keep the service secure.
Who can see it
- People you share a list with see your display name and the tasks in that list. They don't see your email address.
- Service providers that run the service for us: our hosting and sign-in infrastructure, and Expo's push service together with Apple Push Notification service for delivering push notifications.
- Authorities, only where the law requires it.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account in the app. When you do, your BloomNote data is deleted and the account can no longer be used to sign in. Your email address and username are replaced with placeholders in our sign-in service and the record is deactivated. If you own a shared list with other members, it can be passed on to one of them so their plans aren't lost. We send one informational email to your address when the account is deleted.
Your rights
Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and, where it applies, the GDPR, you can ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to its processing. Write to us at application@bloomnote.info and we'll reply within 30 days.
Changes
If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and the date above. For significant changes we'll also tell you in the app.
